Hurray for Montana! For those of us still struggling to legislate such compassionate laws I have written a play addressing the issues of the right to die. People are moved by different means—some by politicians, others by the news, and some by the power of well-written socially and politically centered theatre.
The theme of my play, LAST CALL is the right to die—or not. Three family stories are interwoven, presenting different points of view. Family secrets and stressed relationships surface as each character confronts difficult decisions and comes
to his edge in this drama on a timely subject. This work was presented to much acclaim in a staged reading at Ross Valley Players in Ross, CA this past September. It is now my hope that groups or producers will pick it up and give it wings to touch many others. Is there anyone out there who can help? I’d be happy to send my resume and synopsis to any interested parties. I can be reached through the above organization. or at csheld@comcast,net.
