		<description>I feel for Ms. Minarick, having been in the same situation with my father.  Fortunately he had a living will, but the worry that you might not be doing something correctly is heart-wrenching. I am sorry to hear the story and hope for the best for your family.

I do take issue with Paula Span, however, on the comment about the Obama Administration taking out the Medicare provision-that is blatantly a misstatement.  The Death Panel controversy was fired up by the anti-health-care Republicans and had to be eliminated because of uninformed public opinion.  We would have a much better bill if the other side of the aisle hadn&#039;t pulled all stops to kill the bill in any way possible.</description>
