Compassion & Choices Circles
Compassion & Choices Circles are major donor communities that galvanize our mission to improve care and expand choice at the end of life. Circle members provide the financial stability necessary to support terminally ill patients and their families; educate the public, health care professionals, lawmakers and the media; and advocate in legislatures, in courts and at bedsides.
A pledge of $1,200 or more annually qualifies you for Circles membership. As a frontline supporter of the choice in dying movement, you will receive exclusive benefits including:
• Timely updates from Compassion & Choices’ President and Executive Director through Compassion & Choices Circles Circuit, our exclusive major donor e-letter.
• Participation in strategic conference calls during breaking issues and events.
• Invitations to member-only educational forums and social networking events.

Compassion & Choices Council
Elevate your commitment to the movement as a Compassion & Choices Council member. Your contribution of $5,000, $250,000, $1,000,000 or more can immediately drive new policy and legal initiatives, amplify our outreach or build our client support teams across the country.
Your Compassion & Choices Council gift entitles you to a privileged level of access, participation, and communication with Compassion & Choices. Benefits include:

Donor levels identify your level of giving as well as the benefits you receive.

What is a local Compassion & Choices Circle?
Local Compassion & Choices Circle leaders come together for activities and events in their community in support of Compassion & Choices.
What does it mean to be a Compassion & Choices Circle convener?
A convener works with other local volunteers and national staff to bring together Circles members in a local community. Possible activities include hosting forums featuring movement leaders and building relationships that expand the social network that supports Compassion & Choices’ work.

How often does a Compassion & Choices Circle meet?
An active Compassion & Choices Circle will plan and host an activity three times a year.
Is my contribution to Compassion & Choices Circles tax deductible?
Yes, your Circles gift as well as any Council gift is tax deductible. If you wish to support lobbying activities, your contribution will go to our Action Network and is not tax deductible.
May I designate my gift?
Yes, designated contributions are welcome. If you choose to designate your contribution toward the Action Network for direct or grassroots lobbying, the contribution is not tax deductible.
