Compassion & Choices Action Network
In state legislatures and in Congress, elected officials make decisions that affect the choices available to you at the end of life. Compassion & Choices Action Network works to increase those options and expand choice. As a member of the Compassion & Choices Action Network, you play an important role.
Elected officials see organizations as an important resource, but they want to hear from you—as voters and their constituents. The Compassion & Choices Action Network sends members alerts on important legislation and tells you when and how to take action.
The Action Network is a 501(c)4 tax-exempt non-profit organization. 501c4s are a common type of non-profit organization that can engage in lobbying or political campaigning, so long as this is consistent with the organization’s purpose and is not the organization’s primary activity. Donations to 501(c)4s are not deductible.
