What We Do
Compassion & Choices Oregon is the state’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to improving care and expanding choice at the end of life. We offer education and support for all end-of-life options, including pain management, comfort care, hospice care and aid in dying.
C&C Oregon is empowering doctors as partners in end-of-life planning: developing champions within healthcare systems, hospice, retirement and assisted-living communities; building robust volunteer and outreach teams across the state; and educating Oregonians about end-of-life resources.
End-of-Life Planning and Consultation
Consultants and volunteers throughout the state provide clients and families with information and support as they plan for end-of-life care. We help Oregonians create healthcare plans that ensure they can make their own decisions, in consultation with their healthcare team, and receive only the care they want — no less, no more.
Education and Advocacy
We educate the public, lawmakers, the media, and healthcare and legal professionals on end-of-life issues. We advocate for policies that improve care and ensure all Oregonians have a full range of choices for dying in comfort, with dignity and control.
