Access Campaign Director This position is primarily responsible for providing leadership to Compassion & Choices’ efforts to improve end-of-life care and expand choice in access campaign states. This position directs and manages the activities in access campaign states, builds strong relationships and support for Compassion & Choices, and leads a talented team of staff, supporters and volunteers. This position requires a strong commitment to end-of-life choice, including medical aid in dying.
Legal Assistant This position is primarily responsible for supporting two attorneys with various aspects of the day-to-day operation of a busy national advocacy organization.
National Volunteer Program Manager This position is primarily responsible for managing all aspects of Compassion & Choices’ national volunteer program. Works with staff across the organization to develop customized structures for volunteers of all types to get involved. Primarily responsible for effectively building capacity of local Action Teams in order to move Compassion & Choices medical aid-in-dying campaigns forward. This position works closely with political advocacy staff to manage state-based volunteer projects in support of local efforts.
Oregon Access Campaign & Truth in Treatment Manager This position is primarily responsible for managing Compassion & Choices’ efforts to improving care and expanding choice for end-of-life care options in Oregon; and to manage the Truth in Treatment program, including piloting a new dementia program. This position manages the Access Campaign in Oregon and the national Truth in Treatment Program. This position will build strong relationships and support for Compassion & Choices, and lead a talented team of supporters and volunteers. This position requires a strong commitment to end-of-life choice, including medical aid in dying.
Principal Gifts Officer, West Coast This position is primarily responsible for prospecting, cultivating and soliciting six and seven figure gifts from prospects and major donors in the West Coast with a primary emphasis on California donors. This position will also be asked to solicit and secure both C3 and C4 gifts. The ideal candidate must have a track record of soliciting and closing principal and significant major gifts and demonstrated ability to develop and grow long term philanthropic relationships while consistently meeting fundraising goals.
