Faced with a terminal diagnosis, Kentucky residents deserve the full range of options for care at the end of life, including medical aid in dying. Medical aid in dying allows terminally ill adults to get a prescription they can take to end their life peacefully.
In February 2023, HB 304 – An Act Relating to Individual-Directed Care at the End of Life, was introduced in the KY legislature. Rep. Josie Raymond is the primary bill sponsor.
