Status of Medical aid in dying

The state Legislature is considering a bill to authorize medical aid in dying

On February 16, 2023, the Minnesota End-of-Life Option Act (HF 1930) was introduced in the Minnesota House’s Health Policy and Finance committee. The same day, SF 1813 was introduced in the Minnesota Senate’s Health and Human Services committee.   

2023 Legislative Work

Building on our previous work, Compassion & Choices and the Compassion & Choices Action Network is working to secure a hearing in Minnesota to advance medical aid in dying.
