Indiana

On January 23, 2017, the End of Life Options Act (HB 1561) was introduced by Senator Lonnie Randolph (D-District 1) Representative Matt Pierce (D-District 61). A duplicate bill was also introduced in the state senate (SB 273).

While the Indiana legislature failed to pass either bill in the 2017 session, Compassion & Choices is working to organize in Indiana, and have established a volunteer network. Join our efforts by clicking here. Let’s advance medical aid-in-dying legislation together.
