2017 marked Indiana’s first attempt to introduce an end-of-life options bill. In 2018, Rep. Matt Pierce has continued to push for legislation, introducing House Bill 1157, End of Life Options, on January 4.

History

In 2017 Indiana Representative Pierce introduced House Bill 1561, End of Life Options Act. Senator Randolph introduced a companion bill, Senate Bill 273, in the State Senate. However, the bills failed to move out of committee.
