KQED Radio Hosts Discussion on Palliative Care

On Friday, January 21, KQED Forum’s Michael Krasny held a fascinating discussion around care and choice at the end of life. The Forum included several guests, including Robert Brody, MD.

Dr. Brody is a member of the Northern California and national boards of Compassion & Choices and is Clinical Professor of Medicine and Family & Community Medicine at University of California at San Francisco. He serves as chief of the Pain Consultation Clinic and chairs the Ethics Committee at San Francisco General Hospital.

Additional guests included Andrew Lasher, director of palliative medicine at California Pacific Medical Center and Molly Bourne, medical director for Hospice By the Bay.
