On April 5, 2017, the Maine Senate heard State Senator Roger Katz’s (R-Kennebec/Augusta) bill, An Act to Support Death with Dignity (LD 347/SP 113). Compassion & Choices submitted testimony and over 100 of our activists contacted their legislators in support of the bill.

Despite passing the Senate, the Maine legislature failed to pass the bill in the 2017 session, but we continue to organize in the state. To join our future efforts in Maine, sign up here.
