History

On January 26, 2017, State Senators Leach and Boscola introduced Senate Bill 238, the Pennsylvania Death with Dignity Act. The bill was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Senator Leach previously introduced Death with Dignity bills in 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015. None advanced out of committee.
