Welcome from the Georgia Chapter President
The Georgia Chapter was founded almost 20 years ago in Atlanta, and it serves the entire state. Founding members achieved many accomplishments to help Georgians better deal with the full range of end-of-life issues.
Most notably, working closely with physician and other healthcare groups, plus state legislators, we were instrumental in getting our state’s advance directive completely rewritten in 2007. It’s now one of the simplest, easiest-to-enact advance directives of any state. Read more…
