Status of the Minnesota End-of-Life Option Act (SF1813/HF1930)
The state Legislature is considering a bill to authorize medical aid in dying.
Thanks to the persistence of thousands of Minnesota advocates, the Minnesota End-of-Life Option Act has moved farther in the House of Representatives than ever before, passing successfully through 4 committees. HF1930 now heads to the House Ways and Means Committee which is expected to discuss the bill in April.
Take Action
- Tell your lawmakers why you support the End-of-Life Option Act and end your message with:
“Can I count on you to vote for the End-of-Life Option Act? I look forward to hearing from you.” - Contact Governor Walz.
Tell him to “Be Bold and make End-of-Life Options a priority this year!”
