Help me make an impact on the end-of-life choice movement

I, like millions of Americans, lack access to the end-of-life options that would give me the peace of mind I desire in my final days.

My family’s world came to halt in August 2017 when doctors gave the pain in my bones a name: multiple myeloma, a rare and incurable type of blood cancer.

Treatment started immediately. So did body aches, vomiting and the nausea that only made me sicker every day. This rare and aggressive cancer has taken a toll on my body. I am terrified that my organs are shutting down from all the treatment and progression of the disease.

I want to die peacefully, surrounded by my husband and our two sons, two daughters and precious grandchildren holding my hand in prayer. But I, like millions of Americans, lack access to the end-of-life options that would give me the peace of mind I desire in my final days.

Stand with me and Compassion & Choices as we fight for end-of-life options nationwide!

Match My Gift

This strong Latina wants to live. That is why my husband, Jerry, and I drive to California from our home in Las Vegas for the best treatment options. But when our Lord calls me, I do not want to be connected to machines, catheters and tubes that will cause more pain. I do not want to leave my family with those horrific images as I die slowly in unbearable pain.

No one should have to face intolerable suffering in their final days. If you agree, join me in supporting Compassion & Choices with a gift today!
